COVID-19: Declutter Dahling is committed to adhere to the Government guidelines on "Working safely during coronavirus (COVID-19) in other people's homes" https://www.gov.uk/guidance/working-safely-during-coronavirus-covid-19/homes.
Cancellation Policy: If cancellation of booking is received with less than 2 days (48 hours) notice we reserve the right to charge up to 100% of the fee. We may waive all or part of this fee, at our discretion, if a rescheduled project date is made within 1 month of the original project date.
Code of Ethics: As a member of The Association of Professional Declutterers and Organisers UK (apdo-uk), Declutter Dahling is committed to adhere to the apdo-uk Code of Ethics.
Confidentiality: Declutter Dahling ia a professional service organisation and will never divulge client information to third parties, nor any personal or business details that may be seen in the course of Declutter Dahling's work which, when decluttering, is generally unavoidabe. Any testimonial/photographs provided by clients for publicity purposes are reproduced with their full knowledge and consent.

Data Protection: Declutter Dahling is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) (Ref: ZA055674) for inclusion on the Public Register of Data Controllers under the Data Protection Act 1998. The ICO is the UK's independent authority set up to uphold information rights in the public interest, promoting openness by public bodies and data privacy for individuals.
Disclosure Certificate: Declutter Dahling holds a clean Criminal Conviction Certificate (No: 200000002484788) from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
Fees: Decutter Dahling's hourly rate is £50.
Insurance: Decutter Dahling holds Professional Indemnity and Public Liability and Insurance via Ageas (Indemnity Limit: £1m).
Loss or Accidental Damage: Declutter Dahling handles all clients' possessions with the utmost care. In the unlikely event of loss or accidental damage, the client acknowledges that Declutter Dahling will not be held responsible.
Declutter Dahling relies on the client to have adequate insurance cover which compensates the client for any loss or accidental damage caused by Declutter Dahling in it's capacity as the clients' agent.
Payment Methods: Declutter Dahling accepts payment in cash, debit card or via bank transfer. A deposit of 50% of the quoted fee is payable within 7 days of your confirmed project booking, the remaining balance is payable at the end of each day of your project.

Professional Memberships: Declutter Dahling is a member of The Association of Professional Declutterers and Organisers UK (apdo-uk). apdo-uk is a not-for-profit, unincorporated association, working to provide support, networking and promotion for members of the Professional Organising & Decluttering industry, and information and services for their clients.
Session Length: The minimum Declutter Dahling session is 3 hours.
Travel: A daily travel fee applies, normally between £10 and £25, depending on your location. If travel time is in excess of one hour each way, an additional charge may be made for time taken to travel at £10 per hour.
